Your Ex Girlfriend is Confused! How to Pull Her Back After the Break Up

Wouldn't it be great if we could always make sense of everything we're feeling? Unfortunately that's not how life goes at all. Most of us struggle with understanding what we feel and that's even truer when you're going through a break up. Although you may feel very focused on the fact that you want your girlfriend back, she may not feel as secure and sure about where her heart is. If your ex girlfriend is confused and you're determined to get her back, you have to be careful with how you handle your failing relationship. If you push her too hard you risk losing her for good and if you don't take some sort of action, she may find someone else in the meantime. You need to know exactly what to do and when to do it if you're going to have any hope of repairing the broken bond between you two.
If your ex girlfriend is confused about what she wants one of the most damaging things you can do is push her to come back to you. A woman's emotions are all over the place after a break up and there may be days when she feels that she can't live without you and yet the very next day she'll be glad she broke up with you. If you dive headfirst into that ever changing pool of emotions and you try and convince her to come back to you before she's made up her mind, she'll resent you for that. You have to take a step back and allow her the time and space she needs to sort through what she's feeling. You also should stay in contact as a platonic and trusted friend throughout this.
It's important that you do put the past to rest if you want to get her back with you in the future. You need to apologize if you've done anything that you feel may have contributed to her decision to walk away from the relationship. It may be something that right now seems insignificant or unimportant, but if you do sense that it helped her lean towards ending things with you, you need to tell her how very sorry you are for that. An apology, even a very simple one, can go a long way to leaving the past where it belongs. It will definitely help your girlfriend to see that you want to make a change and that you're willing to accept responsibility for the things that you've done that have hurt her. This is a crucial step in the break up recovery process and not something you should push to the side or skip past.
Make it very clear that you understand that your ex girlfriend is confused but you're around and available to talk whenever she needs it. If she senses that you are willing to help her work through her emotions, that's a big step towards eventual reconciliation between you two. She needs to know and feel that you're there for her no matter what. Once she does, the break up may soon be a thing of your mutual distant past.
