Kinds of stickers
• The screen-printing – this is considered as the oldest and still most of the most usual way in printing these print materials. It is a very simple process that usually uses synthetic screens to transfer the image to the paper. It is also for basic printing, and for only a limited amount of print materials. The ink is most of the time squeezed through the screen onto the paper material that has a stencil on it. The process must be done again for each colored that will be used: a stencil for one color is cut and usually pressed onto the paper material. Then, a stencil is cut for a second color and which color is pressed onto the paper material.
• Letterpress printing – this is appearance of respite printing that usually uses a pres and a movable kind known as the letterpress printing process. a reversed, raised surface is usually inked and presses into the paper material to attain the right sided image. In addition, it is most of the time used on small, usual task that uses one color only.
• The flexography – this is a much faster printing process. This flexography process usually allows for printing bigger amount of print materials. this process is most of the timed used in commercial printing projects. In this process, a master print is made and then used to print the image on the print material as the plate is being rolled over the paper material. This is a very well known process especially for printing stickers.
• The offset printing – in this printing process, the image is usually transferred from a plate or a rubber cylinder to the paper material. This process of printing provides the printer several color alternatives and prints attractive and interesting colors.
• Last but not the least, digital printing procedure – this is considered as the most contemporary and most press forward process of sticker printing. With this process, you will always be able to make any changes up to the last minute, including the color changes. In this process, the ink usually sits on the paper material as opposed to being absorbed into the paper. However, unlike other printing process, digital printing is not suitable for printing large amount of prints.
