Tips For Calculating The Value of Any Coke Product Collectibles.

I am often asked the question "What is my coke product worth?" or they are trying to purchase coke product collectible at a bargain and want to find out values prior to purchasing an item. I am attempting to help both the beginning collector and the advanced collector. Probably no one including the inventor of the magic elixir we all know as coke could have imagined how huge the demand for Coke products would be or how far reached it would become. Coke has become a know household name all over the world. It is a very difficult to find information and values on more modern collectibles and it can become a very frustrating process. The following are a few tips to help get you started.

1) Searching at online Auctions:
Go to any online auction such as e-bay for example and do a search for the product. Be sure to complete the search on all current auctions and an advanced search on completed past auctions in order to gather the most amount of data possible. It may take a many attempts changing keywords to hone in on the coke product you are searching for. An example keyword may be Coke Refrigerator, Coke Table Top Refrigerator, Coke Vending Machine.

If the item you’re looking to sell has a date stamp make sure to add that information into your search as well: 1957 Coke Refrigerator.

If your efforts are successful it will show past auctions and the amount the item sold for. This is by no means an absolute method in determining value but it is just one component in giving your item a value range.

2) On Online Coke Product Pricing Information:
The Coke Collectors Club is a great resource that offers updated prices for recent sales of vintage Coke memorabilia in their monthly magazine as well as good articles on various topics in collecting from well-renown experts. The most popular section on the monthly magazine is "Prices Realized" with listing of current prices received for various Coke vintage products http://www.cocacolaclub.org

3) Pricing Guides:
Pricing guides are great for individuals interested in starting a coke memorabilia collection, especially if you are planning on purchasing some higher priced items. The pricing guides are a great reference for what memorabilia and collectibles are out in the market place today. But be forewarned that no guide has all Coke products produced by through the years. Some guides feature a variety of items all in the same book. They usually include items such trays, calendars, refrigerators, and advertising pieces such as blotters, coupons, bottles, magazine ads, etc. Some guides target just a particular item or theme. For example the entire guide may have only bottle value in it
